Dr. Seguin received her DVM in 1982, having decided to become a veterinarian at the age of 8. After managing a busy clinic in Oakville for many years, she came to the Brantford Veterinary Clinic in 1988. Many of you have watched her children grow up, spending time at the clinic after school. Her home is populated with “rescue” cases – a passion her daughter is carrying into the next generation. She has been practicing Veterinary medicine for over 40 years – and is still loving it. Growing up on a family farm, Jolene has always had a love for animals, big and small! She completed her RVT diploma at Algonquin College. In addition she is also a graduate of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Program at Northern College. Jolene currently has 1 dog (Duke), 2 cats (Nelly & Mazey) as well as a flock of chickens (who also all have names). Jolene is Fear Free Certified- Level 3 as of April 28, 2022.
Julianne
Assistant/Reception
Julianne joined the Brantford Veterinary Clinic team in 2008. Originally she had been an assistant to the technicians, helping with bloodwork, x-rays and surgery. Now-a-days she spends most of her time as one of our receptionists, helping in appointments and with client’s questions. She is our resident cat expert, spending endless hours raising, rescuing and socializing orphaned kittens and homeless cats. She has many spoiled cats of her own, all rescues themselves, including some with special needs. Julianne is Fear Free Certified- Level 3 as of March 2, 2021.
Christa
Office Manager
Christa joined the Brantford Veterinary Clinic team in early 2018. She has 15+ years experience in business management. She can usually be found under a pile of paperwork, but often assists with front reception. She has a big furry family consisting of rescue cats, that were all what we call “foster-fails” and a Labrador who keeps her busy. Christa has a passion for cooking and the outdoors and likes to spend her time walking, hiking and camping with her family. Christa is Fear Free Certified- Level 3 as of March 2 2021.

Megan
Assistant/Reception
Megan joined the Brantford Veterinary Clinic team in late 2023, she has previously been our assistant in the exam rooms helping out during appointments. She has now migrated up front as our newest receptionist, assisting clients with their purchases and scheduling appointments. Megan’s fur babies include her tortoiseshell Caramel, and her fluffy brown and white tabby Soda. Outside of work Megan loves spending time with her husband, cats, and everything Disney! Megan is Fear Free Certified Level 2 as of May 2024.
