Dr. Sandra Fazakas, DVM

Sandra graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1999 and has been helping animals ever since. When she’s not working you will probably find her underwater, pursuing her favourite sport of SCUBA diving. She also has an interest in aquatic animals including sharks, and occasionally assists in research at the Canadian Shark Research Laboratory in Nova Scotia.

When she’s not diving you will probably find her gardening in her backyard alongside her own “shark”, who’s actually a big and loveable (but sometimes ornery) cat named Owen.
